About Signatures

We  have requested that advertisements not be used as signatures. We even have a notice on the home page with this request in red letters. Yet people still use them. We are willing to believe that this could be because English is not the poster's first language. So PLEASE NOTE: Do not use ads as your signature. look at the signature below this notice - it is what we mean by a signature. You can use a quote from a famous person, or make up your own, of just say Have a Happy Day. But PLEASE do not use advertising. Thank you.

The Forum Rules • Agreement
The rules for this forum are provided as we would like to make this web board a serene place for everyone to share there thoughts and ideas.

We would highly appreciate that you read the registration agreement FIRST. Then follow all the general rules stated below:

1. If you run across an article that rouses your interest, and you wish to let everyone here know about it, that is good. BUT do not just copy and paste the article, as that ignores the copyright laws. Ignoring the copyright laws can get the Administration in trouble, and could cancel the forum. Take one paragraph to post, and add a link giving the URL. And ALWAYS cite the source.

2. Please avoid duplicating a post that someone else has already posted. Express your views and ideas, agreeing or disagreeing with the other's post. You may use quotes to make your point.

3. Newbies will be limited to certain boards for a period of one month.

4. Treat all other members' views and knowledge with respect.

5. Do not use bad language in your posts, or threaten other members.

6. Please do not post spam.

7. Plain English with no slang will be appreciated. And please, spell the words out, don't use text message format. If you have a physical problem that makes typing difficult, then you may use the text message format. But please, don't lie about it just to be lazy.

8. No topics concerning illegal activities.

9. Pornography is strictly prohibited.

10. Be respectful to the Administrators, and accept all decisions made by them.
